Nice democracy you’ve got there. Shame if something happened to it.

Please don’t call them ‘anti semites’. They are instead ‘pro Palestinians’.

Which is very different. I’m guessing.

Sure, they concede, on October 7 2023, Hamas snuck across the (suspiciously unguarded) Israeli border. Raped a few privileged kids at a music festival. (When was the last time kids in Gaza got a music festival??!) Shot up a few nanas at a bus stop. Meh. Beheaded hardly any babies. Killed twelve hundred people. (Although I’m not sure I can actually quote that number with any authority, after all, I’m not a coroner.)  And kidnapped a few girls, who literally waved to their captors later, when they were quickly released.

Yes, they admit, all this did happen. Apart from maybe the rapes. Because I’ve not seen any video evidence. And the rule of course is #believeallwomen and  #doubtallJews.

Anyhoo. All that might have possibly occurred. Maybe.

But in its retaliation, Israel has clearly gone too far. Did you not see Jeremy Bowen on the news that one time? The IDF are literally targeting tunnel riddled hospitals full of weapons. But hospitals??! How is that justifiable?

And the colonialist Jews Israeli forces are killing innocent people who Hamas are using as human shields. This is clearly a war crime.

Not the taking human shields bit. The other bit.

Israel has overreacted. Its response disproportionate. This is Overkill. The killing must be over. (Actually double love that!!! Might put it on a placard and go shout at people outside Barclays!)

So play fair Israel, they demand, put down your weapons and give the poor Palestinian militants a chance to regroup, rearm, and have another go.

It time for a ceasefire.

You know, just like the one that was in place on October 6.

I feel sorry for Kier Starmer. I really do.

There’s not a lot I agree with him on.

I think Starmer is a socialist in centrist dad’s clothing.

An anti-democratic technocrat. A slavish devotee of supra national, unelected, and unaccountable bodies like the EU and the ECHR, the WHO and the UN.

A progressive leftist who will lead this country into a dystopian nightmare of high(er) taxation, divisive identity politics, mass, unchecked immigration, the slow dilution of women’s sex based rights, and the sexualisation of children.

A politician who will oversee the dismantling of privacy laws for all but the richest, the destruction of press freedom, the censorship of the internet, and the curtailment of free speech.

A sanctimonious do gooder who sees it as his benign duty to usher in an overbearing nanny state, Kafkaesque levels of regulation, form filling, and box ticking, intrusive state surveillance, and the erosion of our civil liberties.

A leader who will take control of this teetering, bankrupt, self loathing, rotten country, and ultimately expedite the inevitable collapse of Britain as a nation state.

I believe all of these things. But I do not believe, that on any level, Kier Starmer is an anti semite.

Since taking over from his one time good friend/since ghosted, Jeremy Corbyn, Starmer has seen it as his calling to purge the Labour party of the grim spectre of anti Jewish racism. A laudable mission. And one which I think all people who value a strong and fair democracy, and have a vestigial respect for this once great party, can get behind.

After all, anti semitism is the second worst scourge to afflict the modern Labour Party. After Sadiq Khan.

To be honest if I could rid Labour of either the vile poison of Jew hating, or the smug, cloth eared, London trolling clown, I’d make myself go with the Jew hating. But maaaate, it would be a tough call.

At first it looked like Starmer was making a good fist of it. Sure, not everyone was on board, but he was doing his best, and much to his credit, he appeared to be making decent headway.

And then Oct 7 happened.

At that point the dam burst and a tsunami of anti Jewish hatred burst through the levees to engulf the country.

Since then Starmer has seemed little more than a nasal voiced King Canute. Ineffectively trying to hold back the deluge of rancour, loathing, and spittle flecked rage, swirling at his door.

But let’s not blame Sir Kier, on reflection the Herculean task he set himself was virtually impossible.

Because it’s not that there are anti semites in the modern Labour Party. It’s that it is practically built on them.

Trying to rid the Labour Party of anti Jewish sentiment is like trying to purge the grasping knotweed that is Michael Gove from the Tory Party. Or rheumy eyed, dogging loving vicars from the Lib Dems. Or that weird pixie faced woman with the lesbian haircut, from the Greens.

To be honest it’s no wonder Starmer has failed. The Guardian reading elite which controls modern Labour are disdainful of a minority which refuses to line up for their benign benediction, queue up for their charity, nod in gratitude at their guidance, or agree to wallow in their own victim status.

Such behaviour throws the lie of their world view into stark relief, and shows it up to be the misanthropic, ghettoising, patronising, divisive and self serving bullshit it undoubtedly is.

I also suspect that there’s a thrill these usually pious and strictly policed ‘anti racists’ experience on being given licence to vent their bile on a minority.

They experience a priapic frisson of release at being permissibly, openly, racist. This is forbidden fruit. It is for them the ultimate turn on, the great transgression, the final kink.

Though of course they reassure themselves that unlike the rest of us bigots, their prejudice is morally justified.

Like Dexter the popular TV serial killer who murdered people, sure. But you know, he slaughtered them, for the Greater Good.

Of course, one major reason that Starmer’s mission to rid the Labour Party of anti semitism is doomed to fail, is that its voter base is increasingly made up of people from cultures which are not exactly known as adoring fans of Israel.

There are four million Muslims living in Britain. That’s a significant voting block which overwhelmingly breaks for Labour. The details, in this fascinating polling, help explain why Starmer is so desperate to keep them onside, and why he is now, with elections looming, calling for ‘a ceasefire that lasts’ in Gaza.

At some point Starmer will be forced to make a political decision. Stand by the two hundred and fifty thousand members of Britain’s Jewish community, or appease a potential four million Muslim voters.

I wonder which way he will fall.

In the meantime he is doing what he does best, equivocating.

Despite hanging on for as long as he could, Starmer was finally forced to disown his own candidate Azhar Ali in the Rochdale by-election.

After Ali announced at a Labour meeting, that Israel was not only figuratively ‘asking for it’ on October 7. But actually asking for it.

According to the Labour candidate, the Israelis felt the slaughterer of twelve hundred of their fellow Jews was a price worth paying, if it meant the IDF could start a genocide in Gaza.

Some have claimed it’s remarkable that not a single person at that meeting called him out on his comments.

But maybe not so surprising, especially when even the judiciary seems content to give the perpetrators of anti Jewish hate crimes a pass.

We’ve all read the case of the Paraglider Girls, (like the Spice Girls but with a worse moral compass, and better singing voices) who pinned images of paragliding Hamas terrorists to their clothing, as they paraded through London, gleefully celebrating the murder of over a thousand Jews.

And not weeks after the killings. But just days later, when the blood was yet to dry.

The girls were found guilty of terrorist offences, but still effectively let off with a warning by unbiased judge Tan Ikran.

Anti semites have clearly been emboldened by this kid gloves approach by the authorities, to public displays of racism.

Shadow health minister Wes Streeting came under attack when a bus stop near his house was hung with a giant poster which effectively accused him of being complicit in genocide. His crime, belonging to the Labour Party which is now suffering a backlash thanks to Starmer’s efforts.

Of course it’s not just Labour politicians who are being targeted.

David Amess MP was killed by an Islamist Ali Harbi Ali in 2022.  We were reassured at the time that the killing was caused by Mark Zuckerberg’s sloppy moderation policies on Facebook, rather than as a result of an extremist sticking a knife in his guts.

An excuse which clearly didn’t wash with fellow MP, and defender of Isreal, Mike Freer, who resigned in fear, after he learned he had also been targeted by among others, the same foul mouthed internet trolls real life Islamic extremist, who murdered David Amess.

The most recent case of bullying has been the hounding of Tory MP Tobias Elwood by a mob of what the media inevitably called ‘Pro Palestinian’ protesters, who gathered outside his house.

It doesn’t matter what party an MP represents. Or how you personally feel about them. The idea that a mob is allowed to gather outside a British politician’s family home and harass and intimidate them all day, while the police stand by and do nothing, beggars belief.

Can you imagine a world where angry Brexit supporters were allowed to protest for hours on end outside Theresa May’s house?

No. Neither can I.

These anti semitic attacks are just the most high profile examples of a culture of bullying and coercion which has taken root in our society.

In response to the assault on Tobias Elwood’s home, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said

‘We will never let those who intimidate prevail’.

Yes you will.

You allow it every week when the bullies commandeer our streets, take control of our cities, and occupy our town centres.

We are conditioned to describe these events as ‘protests’. Of course they are nothing of the sort.

They are displays of strength. Demonstrations of power. As the kids would say, a total flex.

And as such, testaments to our own weakness.

The reason the police do not step in and stop these, and similar events, is that they are scared. Of social unrest. Of riot. Of chaos and disorder.

Under threat of violence the mob demands indulgence of its medieval sensibilities, and gets it.

The police must stand by and watch. Even if they had the will to intervene, they simply don’t have the numbers.

The police have even been accused of helping facilitate some protests.

They are like a teacher trying to stop a school yard bully by helping him steal dinner money off the fat, ginger kid.

And on the subject of teachers, just look at how our government and institutions melted away when a teacher at the Batley Grammar School in West Yorkshire received death threats after showing a cartoon of Mohammed as part of a lesson.

The teacher went into hiding. Two years later he remains hidden, still in fear for his life.

Or the case of the boy at the Kettlethorpe School, also in West Yorkshire, who accidentally scuffed a copy of the Koran. It was chilling to watch the boy’s mum cowed before the local imam begging mercy for her son, while the local police chief looked on inert, impotent and useless.

And it’s not just a teacher, a schoolboy, and his desperate mum who are the victims of coercion, thuggery and intimidation. We all are.

Let’s not pretend this is a tactic unique to extremists and anti semites.

The fact is, the wokist ideology which underpins the progressive left is entirely built on bullying, intimidation, threat, and censure.

It might not seem not seem obvious on the surface, but make no mistake, violence is at the heart of what we euphemistically call ‘Cancel Culture’.

Though it preaches inclusivity and diversity, it is an ideology which patrols the fences of its mono culture with unforgiving harshness and aggression.

Acquiesce to our demands, follow our doctrines, become an ally, bend to our will, or mark yourself out as a target for punishment and condemnation.

Put a black flag on your Insta. A pride flag on your Facebook page. Add pronouns to your email. Or be cast out as a non believer.

You must learn to literally speak our language or we’ll hound you from your job. Block your streets. Firebomb your offices. Send a mob round your house. Ruin your life.

Because we care so much.

This is not a conspiracy, a confected fantasy, a made up ‘right wing’ culture war. This is very real.

These people do not want compromise. They do not want coexistence. They do not want to ‘live and let live’. Bullies never do.

They want to crush you. Erase your culture. And rescind your rights. They want to eradicate your past, and to control every aspect of your future.

All our political leaders are complicit.

This rot has taken root during thirteen years of worthless, feeble, hopeless Tory rule. While Starmer, robust in his fight against anti-semitism in his own party, is very much part of the wider problem.

In a photo which should haunt him forever, Sir Kier, catastrophically and unforgivably, ceded his moral and democratic authority to the misanthropic Marxists of BLM.

Confronted by the bullies, Starmer’s instant reaction was to kneel before them. In glass eyed supplication.

This is not leadership.

If this is what he concedes in Opposition, how much will he surrender to our tormentors tomorrow, when this country is nominally in his charge?

We can no longer rely on the politicians, parliament, the police force, our institutions, or the courts, to defend our country, our traditions, or our values.

We must take it upon ourselves to stand up for democracy. For free speech. For our rights. For our culture, our history and the rule of law.

To stand up to the racists, the virtue signallers, the busy bodies, and the mob.

And stand together, against the bullies.
