“Does Your Mother Know?” I remember when I was 14 and my mom was going on her Abba craze. Even at 14 that song sounded perverted, if a little hot. Any number of 8th grade girls I went to school with at the time were the girl of that song!
Yes Jerad. It definitly felt creepy at the time. I was also just a kid. But general creepiness was somehow more acceptable. It was almost its own branch of showbiz…!
Stateside - I think the censors are sneakier in the new world (order) here. They aren’t advertising as much their censorship. We must unite worldwide against wokeism!!
‘Better than the Beatles’. No evidence for such an inaccurate assertion.
Ha ha. Sorry Steve!
That’s why I love prog rock even more now. No one listens to it or cares about it so there’s no fear about censoring such bands.
Good strategy. I used to like punk. Unfortunately my Mum ‘censored’ all my Crass albums in the 80s, by chucking them all in the bin.
Ouch. I’m sorry to hear that mate. Cheers from Mexico!
Thanks Ricardo. Don’t worry. I’m almost over it. Best to you in Mexico!
I know that BBC exec. Exactly the same thing happened on Comic Relief 😄
Yep. If it was Comic Relief it sounds like the same one! Ha ha. Glad it wasn’t just me.

Beatles fan here. Are they censored?
Pretty soon. “She was just seventeen, if you know what I mean.” !!
